This allows Singapore production companies to tie up with Korean partners to produce television programmes.
Yes, Singagore has, for long, collaborated with their peers from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. Now, Korea has been added into its honour list. Clearly, the writing has been on the wall for quite a while.
The viewer market in Singapore has all along been very limitedly small, but singaporeans have been a very demanding bunch of viewers and they do want Quality. Especially with IPTV and pay TV going strong, the action has been a timely boast. It also goes to proof that viewers have in majority transcended across language and cultural boundaries in the Asia Pacific if not on the Global stage.
